Finding Your Way
Becoming a new mother is a time of great change, of vulnerability and all things new. It can be a time of joy, gratitude and fulfillment, as well as a time of confusion, isolation and fear. It is different for every new mother, and every new mother needs mothering, needs support, needs someone to listen.
I am offering to be a neutral listener for you. Together we will help you find your own voice, find ways to sort out your many varied and sometimes conflicting feelings, and especially find what it is you want for yourself and your baby. I can help you discover who it is that you are becoming now. I will support you where you are - no judgment, no agenda, no expectations. I will listen with a mother’s heart and a grandmother’s heart, reminding you to care for yourself as you care for your baby. Together we will work to create a warm and allowing environment around you so that you can relax into this new time in your life as you find your very own way of becoming a mother.
I am offering to make visits to your home, spending time with you for an hour to an hour and a half, weekly or biweekly, depending on your preference.
